TPI’s Spring Celebration: A Big Success
Thank you to all for the amazing effort that went into making TPI’s Spring Celebration Weekend such a great success. The Garden Party hosted by Jim was enjoyed by all. It was so nice to see so many TPI members and meet some members for the first time. Jim’s garden provided a beautiful setting for the gathering. We are grateful for all the preparations that went into the afternoon.
The opening receptions of the “Engaging the Mystical” exhibit, featuring the paintings of American painter, Jesse Reichek was also a great success. The event provided us an opportunity to share provocative art and the renovated public spaces of the Institute. If you were not able to join us, I want to invite you to stop by the Institute this summer and look at all that is new.
Thank you and Looking Forward
As Summer is upon us, I am filled with gratitude for the warmth and support of our TPI family. We have journeyed through the challenges and triumphs of the past year. With the coming of the new fiscal year, I am reflecting on all the accomplishments of this year. Your TPI Board is planning for an exciting year ahead. Next month, look for our annual report to our membership and announcements for opportunities to come together to grow in community
Best wishes,
Kyra
Board and Committee News
From the Board of Directors
Endorse our Slate of New Officers and Board Members
On behalf of the Board Development and Leadership Committee, I am pleased to present the 2024-2025 Board of Directors nominees, seven individuals with a deep commitment to TPI’s mission and to social justice. We invite the membership to cast their vote now for the Board of Director positions by July 8th. Please note that the ballot is coming out late this year due to extending the recruitment window.
One of the priorities in TPI’s strategic plan is to increase financial stability by expanding the board to include members from the larger community who have marketing and fundraising expertise and/or financial connections. The new board will be a diverse mix of clinicians and also new members who will bring additional perspective, expertise and spirit. We invite the membership to vote now on the Board candidates currently up for nomination by clicking here. Their names and bios are listed on the ballot. There remain open Board positions and we will keep membership informed as developments emerge on these fronts.
We look forward to TPI’s membership’s continuing commitment to and participation in our institute's evolution toward a more aware and active culture of inclusion and engagement and also sustainability. Our new board nominees bring with them a breadth of experience that can contribute to this change process.
Thank you for your participation,
Coecillia Zazove
Chair of Board Development and Leadership Committee
